The accommodation consists of one double en-suite, one twin en-suite and one double with private bathroom. Please note, this is a non-smoking establishment.The price for 2008 is from £70 per room per night. Euros are accepted but not credit cards

ACACIA lies in a peaceful location on the western edge of Winchester, yet is only 2 Kms from the city centre.There is a bus service to the city every 10mins from a bus stop nearby. Both the Royal Winchester and the South Winchester golf courses are within 3 mins drive, and Farley Mount country park with it's many colour coded walks is only 3 Kms distant. The New Forest with it's wild ponies, lovely scenery, country pubs is only half an hours drive away.
Within one hour is Portsmouth with it's maritime museums, Southampton with it's shopping, the Isle of Wight and even the university city of Oxford. Winchester to London Waterloo station is also less than one hour.
Winchester,being the former capital of England, has many historical sites, not forgetting the famous cathedral, and also provides an excellent base for touring the south.

Directions
If approaching ACACIA from the motorway, leave the motorway at junction 11. Follow the signs for "Olivers Battery", and then pick up the signs for the hospital accident and emergency (A & E). Turn left into Kilham Lane at the first set of traffic lights. ACACIA is 200 yds up on the right. If approaching ACACIA from the city centre take the ROMSEY direction. Pass the hospital on your left. Straight on at the next roundabout, then turn right into Kilham Lane at the second set of traffic lights. |
