The main bus stations and railway stations are approx 1 ½ miles away and a short taxi or bus ride can bring you right outside the Acorn. Only 300 metres away is the Skylink bus connection to East Midlands Airport. The Acorn offers free off street parking to its guests.

The Acorn is situated just a few yards from the world famous Trent Bridge Cricket ground and across the road is Nottingham Forest Football Club, with Notts County FC. Only 10 minutes walk away.

At Holme Pierrepont, the National Water Sports centre is only 2 miles away with it's Rowing, Canoeing and white water rafting facilities. The City Centre is just 1 ½ miles away offering excellent shopping facilities, night clubs, cinemas, and restaurants.

The Acorn is conveniently situated 1 ½ south of Nottingham City Centre in the West Bridgford suburb of Nottingham. It provides an alternative to city attractions and has a number of lively bars and restaurants.
