Once you discover Southwold you will be drawn back here again and again. We have set out to make Amber House the home-from-home that will turn every one of your visits into a happy memory. This spacious Victorian family house on the seafront has been completely refurbished, retaining the period style of the spacious, well proportioned interior while placing the emphasis on up to date comforts.

We have personally designed and furnished our five guest rooms, giving each its own distinctive style. All are en suite with central heating, colour television and tea making facilities. Three have magnificent sea views including our superb, well appointed family room whose generous bay window affords a breathtaking panorama across the whole of Sole Bay.

Protected from the rest of the world by the Blyth salt marshes, Southwold is an unique, unspoilt, historical little town - the perfect place to escape and relax any time of the year. Adnams Ales, the famous lighthouse artist, art, craft and antique shops, ancient churches, excellent pubs and restaurants, the summer theatre, golf, sailing, swimming and fishing are all on the doorstep. And for walkers, birdwatchers and painters the surrounding area is close to paradise.
