As the timeless mists of Avalon roll away discover the tranquillity of Tordown. We invite you to stay for a luxurioius, comfortable and peaceful bed & breakfast break in our Victorian house on the slopes of the magical Glastonbury Tor. There are wonderful sunny views over the Somerset Levels giving a feeling of relaxation and tranquility from the moment you arrive.

As well as B&B, we offer many forms of healing from Reiki to Hydrotherapy Spa treatments. Please visit the healing pages to see what we offer. With our mini Spa, hand tailored healing breaks can always be created to suit your needs.

Living in harmony with the world is an important part of our life and your stay with us. We abide by green, environmentally sound principles. We use organic vegetarian local and fair-trade sources whenever possible.

We have two bedrooms on the ground floor giving easy access with all of our rooms offering luxury accommodation for your vacation. Our Glastonbury guest house offers you a wonderful centre to explore Somerset and enjoy your relaxing and inspiring holiday. Simply leave your car in our car park and walk or drive out to visit places further afield.

Accommodation

Tordown is a large Victorian house offering differing accommodation.

Some rooms are on the ground floor for easy access; the Angelic Opal Room has its own kitchen facilities and a patio area.

All rooms have toilets and hand-basins and all but one has a shower.

If you are a bath person we have on the first floor, a guest bathroom with toilet hand-basin, bath and shower.

Breakfasts

We are consistently told we do "very good breakfasts."

These include fruit juices, fresh fruit, a large variety of cereals and teas as well as cooked vegetarian fare.

We aim to use as much organic, fair trade, local produce as possible.

Lounge

The lounge is a great place to sit at any time of day, staring out at the picturesque view of the vale of Avalon.

It is a great meeting or meditation space for small groups and we even have a symphonic gong and Tibetan gong for those who dabble.

The room holds a huge Amethyst Quartz Crystal heart so meditation or healing sessions in here can be a wonderful experience.

We also have a TV with satellite so you can just chill out and watch a film if the mood takes you.

In the winter you can sit beside the blazing log fire.

Hydrotherapy Spa

Our luxury seater hydrotherapy spa is available for a course of treatments or just relaxation from £5 per person. Group rates are:

2 people: £7.50
3 people: £10
Family rate: £10
