Appletree House may look somewhat austere from the outside, but inside the rooms are cosy, comfortable and the owners themselves ensure that the highest standards of cleanliness are maintained. The house is non-smoking throughout and has been so for over 10 years.

There are two ground floor rooms.

A fridge is provided in the breakfast room for guests to keep small amounts of food and drink. Ironing facilities and a hair dryer are available.

Secluded car park at the rear of premises with guaranteed car space for each room.

Full traditional English breakfast is included in the price together with a choice of cereals, fruit juice, tea and coffee and toast. Special diets catered for with prior notice.

Easy access from A419, M4 (J15 10 mins) and M5 (J11A 30 mins). About 3 miles from Swindon centre and train and bus stations.

The Kingsdown Inn - just one minute's walk - provides very good lunches and evening meals.

Discounts are available for stays of 5 or more consecutive nights.
