Gail and David are pleased to invite you to choose from their two adjacent, family-run guesthouses in the heart of historic Paisley, Scotland's largest town. Enjoy a drink from our licensed bar in the secluded, peaceful gardens or relax in our delightful summer house.

We are within 1 mile of Glasgow International Airport and only 10 minutes from Glasgow City centre. The excellent local transport links allow easy access to Loch Lomond to the North and Robert Burns country to the South as well as the scenic Highlands and Islands.

By Rail - from Prestwick Airport and Glasgow Central Station

1. Take the train to Paisley Gilmour St (8 trains/hr from Central)
2. From Paisley Gilmour St take a very short taxi journey or give us a call for walking directions.
3. The taxi rank is located immediately outside Paisley Gilmour St Station.

Paisley is situated in the West of Scotland just outside Glasgow and is very well placed for access to Glasgow International Airport and the road and rail network.As well as the attractions of Paisley town the surrounding area offers easy access to Loch Lomond and other areas of outstanding natural beauty, Glasgow's city attractions and many cycling and walking tracks. We have secure facilities for locking up bicycles and other equipment.

Paisley Abbey
, Abbey Close, founded in 1163. The abbey is well worth the trip for the magnificent stained glass windows alone.

Paisley Museum & Art Gallery
, High Street. A fine collection of Paisley pattern shawls and a wealth of local information.

Coats Memorial Church
Beautiful spired church. Built by the Coats family in memory. Beautiful architecture.

Coats ObservatoryOpen for stargazing during the winter months, this historic observatory was built in 1883 in the midst of what is now a conservation area. Glasgow is Scotland's largest city and although not the capital it does have a reputation as Scotland's friendliest city. The shopping is second to none and the city has a very active nightlife scene as well as many fine restaurants and galleries. All of the Glasgow museums have free entry and the city has many fine parks.

Burns Country
Only an hour away, this area includes Burns' Cottage at Alloway, near Ayr and the bridge at Brig'o'Doon across which Tam O'Shanter was chased in the now famous Robert Burns poem.

The People's Palace
Take a step back in time and discover how Scottish people used to live.

The Burrell Collection
Housed in a purpose built, outstanding building, this diverse collection of art from around the world was donated to the city by a wealthy merchant and is now one of the city's finest museums.
