Ashley Villa is a family run guest house offering clean and comfortable bed and breakfast accommodation in Bath.
The City of Bath has so much to offer from seeing the sights in this beautiful Georgian town: the Roman Baths, the Royal Crescent the New Thermae Bath Spa, to shopping. You can use us as a base to explore the surrounding area - The Cotswolds, Wells Cathedral, Cheddar Gorge, Stonehenge, Salisbury, at-Bristol and Bristol zoo.
We are conveniently situated for the Royal United Hospital and the Bath Spa University. Many of our guests also visit the Jane Austen Centre, Theatre Royal Bath and the famous Sally Lunn's.

Our Rooms
We have 13 en-suite rooms available. Over the last 3 years all of our rooms have been redecorated nine bathrooms have been completely refurbished.
We have redecorated in a contemporary style with a neutral colour scheme, modern lighting, wooden Venetian blinds and bright modern pictures. Our new bathrooms have modern white suites and many have under-floor heating.
As well as twin and double rooms we have 2 large family rooms, one accessing the garden. The second family room is a divided suite giving privacy to both parents and children! One single room is also available. Luxurious and fragrant liquid shampoos and body wash soaps are provided.
All our bedrooms are strictly non-smoking.
All rooms are provided with telephone, hairdryer, a selection of tea, coffee, chocolate and biscuits, and colour TV. |
Our Facilities
In our cosy lounge you will find a wide selection of brochures and leaflets on the local attractions that Bath and the surroundings have to offer. Also available are two daily newspapers, so you can catch up with what's happening in the world today.
If you would like to watch an important football or rugby match then why not have a few drinks from our licensed bar and watch it from the comfort of the lounge on our widescreen TV. Our bar offers a wide selection of drinks including draft San Miguel, local beer from Bath Ales and a local organic cider.
Through the French doors leading out from the lounge you will find a pretty patio garden with tables, chairs, and parasols.
In warmer months our guests can enjoy the added bonus of our outdoor heated swimming pool, perfect for relaxing after a hard day in the office or after a days sightseeing, and very popular with our younger guests! An area with sun-loungers is also available.
We have a wide knowledge of the area and can offer you information on the local attractions, day trips and on booking restaurants.
We are only 1.1 miles from the city centre, a level 20 minutes walk. There are plenty of regular buses, or you can take a leisurely walk along the Bath and Avon Canal to the town centre.
An alternative walk is through Victoria Park, taking in the glorious view of the Royal Crescent. From here you can pick up one of the many Open Top bus tours around the city.

Our Breakfasts
We offer a freshly prepared full English breakfast, cooked to order.
- A choice of fruit, cereals and yoghurts from our breakfast bar, along with a choice of fruit juice.
- We offer a range of teas including English breakfast, Earl Grey, Red Bush, Mint, and various fruit teas.
- Coffee is a specially selected Kenyan Blend, presented in a personal Cafetiere.
- Our cooked breakfast comprises bacon, sausage (vegetarian sausages are available), fresh tomato, mushrooms, baked beans, a choice of eggs and white or brown toast.

Our rates are per room per night and include a full English breakfast and VAT at 17.5 %. Please note that we only accept two night bookings at the weekends (Friday/Saturday, or Saturday/ Sunday). Saturday night only stays will be available the day before, or during off-peak periods.
During the winter we offer off peak specials - please phone for details.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Confirmation: To guarantee your booking we ask that you confirm your reservation to us by writing, fax or email. We will also require your credit card details, which will be held on file in order to secure the room.
Payment: Account to be settled on departure. We accept Visa, MasterCard and Switch, but regret that cheques can only be accepted if supported by a valid cheque card.
Cancellation: We need two clear days written advance notice of any cancellation. If shorter or no notice is given we will charge your credit card in full for the first night. If however, the room is re-let to another customer we will charge for the shortfall only. Every reasonable effort is made to re-let the room in the event of a short notice cancellation.
Check in/out times: Immediate occupancy of the rooms cannot be guaranteed before 2pm on the day of arrival. Check in by 9.30 pm, later arrivals by prior arrangement only. Rooms should be vacated by 10.30 am on the day of departure unless alternative arrangements have been made.
We regret that we are unable to accommodate pets other than the guide dogs of visually impaired guests.

DIRECTIONS FROM CITY CENTRE
A36 (A4) to Bristol -
Lower Bristol Road West - follow signs to A36 and then A4
At traffic lights with Wellsway BMW Garage on right turn right to City Centre A4 (Bristol A431)
Over Windsor Bridge Road, take left filter Bristol A4 (A431) Upper Bristol Road
Left hand fork signposted A4 into Newbridge Road - Ashley Villa will be found 200 metres on the right hand side.
DIRECTIONS FROM THE EXIT 18 OF THE M4 MOTORWAY TO ASHLEY VILLA
M4 Junction 18 - follow A46 towards Bath
First roundabout take 3rd exit signposted Bristol
Follow for a few hundred yards take 1st left signposted Park & Ride
Follow to T-junction
Turn left signposted Bath 5 miles
Go past LANSDOWN GOLF CLUB, BATH RACE COURSE, BLATHWAYT ARMS PUB (on right)
Turn right Weston 1 mile
Follow down to Weston, continue following road, passing RUH hospital on right hand side. At mini round-about, turn left then immediately right down Chelsea Road. At the bottom of Chelsea Road, turn right, Ashley Villa can be seen immediately on the right hand side of the road after the pedestrian crossing.
DIRECTIONS FROM A36 WARMINSTER ROAD
After dual carriageway you enter village of Woolverton, after sharp right hand bend turn left B3110 to Norton St. Philip.Take B3110 through Norton St. Philip, Hinton Charterhouse and on for a few miles to set of mini roundabouts.
Esso Garage on left turn left signposted Bristol, go over next mini roundabout to Bristol A4 follow for a few miles to next main roundabout.
Take 3rd exit onto dual carriageway A4 Bath then follow signs to Park & Ride
Take first left off dual carriageway Bath A4, Newbridge and Weston.
Over bridge past Park & Ride, continue along Newbridge Road for approx ½ mile, Ashley Villa can be found on left hand side.
