The Avron is situated in a quiet road, overlooking a pleasant green and is centrally situated between Torquay's town centre and Babbacombe with its beautiful coastline and scenery, Theatre and Model Village. Babbacombe also has a good selection of Restaurants and Pubs, which provide a varied evenings entertainment or ten minutes walk in the other direction brings you into Torquay's hectic nightlife.

Torquay, the largest of the three resorts which form Torbay, known as the English Riviera with its sunshine, sub tropical palm trees, plants and flowers makes it the ideal holiday destination either during the Summer months or with the benefit of it's mild climate, early or late holidays in the year.

The amenities make Torquay one of the most successful resorts in Britain. We now have the added attraction of the Leisure Centre with the latest in water fun. There are many places of interest to visit nearby, whether you are single, a couple, or a family you won't run out of things to do.

How to Find Us

Approaching Torquay from Newton Abbot on the A380, you will come to the English Riviera roundabout, carry on following signs for Torquay through the set of traffic lights. At the next set of lights carry on following signs for Torquay through the set of traffic lights. At the next set of lights carry on, up to the next lights with Torbay hospital on your right, turn left following the Plainmore T.U.F.C signs (Torquay United Football Club) straight over the first roundabout through Hele, down the hill to a twin mini roundabout. Turn left at the first roundabout, then right at the second travelling up the hill. You will come to a set of traffic lights, carry on through for approx. 600 yards then turn right at Cary Park Road, go to the end and turn right, the Avron Hotel is 150 yards on your right.

This route in is the easiest way but not the most scenic, it avoids most of town centre traffic.
