Creative and traditional meals are served in the wonderful restaurant with French doors that open out onto the garden. Guests can feast on freshly baked homemade bread, herbs from the garden and local fresh fish. For leisure there is walking, bird watching and exploring the beautiful Mawddach Estuary The more adventurous will enjoy mountain biking and hiking in Snowdonia, rock climbing and abseiling, gorge scrambling, wilderness treks and underground exploration of the caverns left by slate quarrymen. The hotel is ideally situated for golfers as it is 20 minutes from Royal St. Davids and 50 minutes from Aberdovey.

From Dolgellau take the A496 to Barmouth. At Barmouth turn right, sign-posted Bae Abermaw. The hotel is 100 yards up the hill on the right.
