| About Bank Farm Bank Farm is located in the heart of Pembrokeshire, ideally situated for the glorious beaches in the south and the castles of Pembroke, Carew and St Davids to the west. The Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, which follows the coast from Newport in the north to Amroth in the south, comes inland following the Eastern Cleddau River upstream to within a mile of bank Farm. The farm building date from 1740. Some of the stone quarried from the farm was used to build the old school and the rebuilding of the church in 1878. In the mid 19th century Robeston Wathen was a substantial village with 4 shoemakers, 4 tailors, 3 masons, a shipwright, master mariner and 2 blacksmiths. Forge cottage, attached to Bank Farm, has recently been tastefully refurbished to provide comfortable accommodation.  Bank Farm has a spacious dining room with a solid fuel fire. It is under 2 miles from Narbeth, a picturesque country town renowned for its interesting shops and Celtic heritage.  |
| Your accommodation Forge Cottage comprises 4 en suite bedrooms:  A family room (double and a single bed) with bathroom.  2 double bedrooms with a bathroom/shower room.  1 twin bedroom with shower room.  Forge cottage has its own entrance and is attached to Bank Farm where meals are served. All rooms have colour TV, clock radio and tea/coffee making facilities. Start the day with a full Welsh breakfast Appetising 3 course dinners, using locally supplied ingredients, with a children's alternative. Residential licence. Plenty of off-road parking. Bank Farm has a no smoking policy. Cot available for little ones. Whatever your needs and whether you wish to stay one night or a week, Ros and Pete will welcome you warmly and do their utmost to make your stay enjoyable.  Cycling at bank Farm Hire a bike and accessories for the day (pre-booked advised) Or, bring your own bike which can be secured overnight. (at your own risk). There are lots of routes over hills, through woods, around a reservoir, on or off road and even through fords. |
| Nearby attractions include: Oakwood Park, Wales premier theme park is 3 miles away. It has three rides stated in the Independent to be among the 50 best theme park rides in the world! Folly Far, (5 miles) has all the joys of the farm for a super family day out. Heron's Brook, (2 miles) has unusual animals, lots to learn and a round of pitch and putt. A hikers paradise, with walks north to Llawhaden Castle and on to llys y Fran reservoir and the Preseli Hills. |
