Nigel and Sue Bundy welcome you to The Barns Country Guesthouse, a beautiful 18th Century property situated in the heart of rural England. An ideal place for couples to relax.

The Barns was very tastefully converted from hay and tractor barns of the next door farm in the early 80`s, although it originally dated back to the 18th Century. Behind the red brick façade, you will find, in all our rooms, reclaimed oak beams from the original building.

The Barns Country Guesthouse is a family run business, situated in the heart of Robin Hood country, bordering Nottinghamshire, Lincolnshire and Yorkshire, within easy reach of major road networks, yet set in very rural surroundings, found on the B6420 between the A1 and Retford. The new Robin Hood Airport is only minutes away at Finningley.

After a comfortable nights rest, an Aga cooked traditional, vegetarian or a light continental breakfast is served in the spacious dining room, where tables are topped with linen table cloths, neatly laid for you. Those guest that have the time can linger over a pot of tea or cafetiere of coffee in a relaxed manner.

The bedrooms are tastefully decorated in cottage style soft furnishings, with waxed pine furniture. Pure cotton bed linen and towels are used throughout and en-suite facilities, central heating, hospitality trays and a colour television can be found in all rooms. A four poster bed features in one very large bedroom for a special occasion or a romantic break.

We believe in traditional values and real old fashioned hospitality, hoping to make your stay a completely relaxing and enjoyable experience, whether it's for business or leisure.

We have ample car parking and guests can relax in the front garden.
