The Bayleaf is a charming Victorian licensed Guest House, centrally located for all amenities and seafront, yet quietly situated. Our family run house will take care of your short or long term holiday.

Afternoon teas & bar snacks are available from our early evening snack bar daily. We have a well stocked bar with many Whiskeys, wines & port and a choice of beers.

All bedrooms including two on the ground floor are ensuite. Easy access for those guests that find stairs difficult. Each room has remote control colour Television, with beverage tray & complimentary toiletries. There is access to the bedrooms at all times.

Enjoy your breakfast in our attractive breakfast room overlooking a pleasant sheltered garden area.

We also offer our guests a 10% discount voucher for many Restaurants & Inns in Sheringham and the surrounding areas.

Rooms & Rates

As we are a Victorian House, all our rooms vary in size & shape, but our beds are Kingsize, Double & twin. The rooms are all decorated tastefully, incorporating both the traditional & contemporary styles. All have remote control colour televisons, beverage trays & individual heating controls for your comfort. All rooms have ensuite shower rooms & are all tastefully decorated.

All towels & toiletries are provided.

An information folder is provided in each room, giving further details of our house, services provided & the local area.

All our rooms are set out for double occupancy, therefore when booking single occupancy you will have the added bonus of extra room. A supplement applies. Please see tariff for details.

Tariff

OAP Special - Stay 9 nights or more - 12% discount

Stay 4 night or more & gain a 5% discount / stay 7 nights or more & gain a 10% discounts.

Single Occupancy from £38 -£50 per night.

Winter - November to March. Bed & Breakfast from £30 - £32 per person per night.

Spring - April to May. Bed & Breakfast from £32 - £34 per person per night.

Summer - June to October. Bed & Breakfast from £34 - £36 per person per night.

Please note - payments are by cash or cheque with a valid bankers card. We do not accept credit cards.

Cancellation Policy

A £30 per person, non-refundable deposit is required when booking. Should you need to cancel before your visit We will endeavour to honour your deposit through that current season.

However we strongly advise you to take out your own holiday insurance as should you take up a room and need to leave early for any reason, the full balance of your stay will be payable.

Location

Sheringham is situated on the North Norfolk coast in a designated scenic area of outstanding natural beauty.

There is a fine stretch of golden sand bathed by sea of the highest quality - holders of the much coveted European Blue Flag.

There is a wonderful selection of shops, restaurants and inns. A very popular Theatre and a splash fun pool and leisure centre.

The nearby marshes, heathland and wooded hills are a haven for bird watchers, ramblers and naturalists.

There are many medieval churches, historic house and old English pubs to explore.

Sheringham has one of the finest seaside golf links with splendid views of coast and countryside. The very popular Poppy Line Steam Railway station is just a stones throw away.
