The Beach House is a friendly, family run bed and breakfast / guest house and licensed restaurant. Located in the centre of West Wittering village, we provide the perfect position to offer both an easy level walk to the golden sands of the award winning West Wittering Beach and National Trust's East Head as well as an easy link to the historic city of Chichester.

The Beach House bed and breakfast / guest house is in the small village of West Wittering, which is bordered by beautiful sandy beaches, the conservation area of Chichester harbour which is marked as an 'Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty' and the rolling South Downs. Chichester, with its festival theatre, cathedral and Goodwood racetracks are seven miles north and London is just one and a half hour drive or train journey away.

Chichester marina, the second largest marina in the country is situated midway between the city and The Beach House whilst many of the smaller sailing clubs including Itchenor and Dell Quay are also within easy reach.

Whether you wish for a fun-filled family beach holiday, the chance to unwind from the strains of modern life with walks along the peaceful harbour side footpaths or just a place to put your head down after a full day of exploration around West Sussex, The Beach House bed and breakfast / guest house offers everything you need to ensure your holiday is as relaxed and enjoyable as possible.

Accommodation

Open all year round, our accommodation comprises seven bright modern en-suite twin, double and family rooms, sleeping up to six people. Two of the family rooms are on the ground floor and have their own separate entrances (dogs are allowed in these rooms). All rooms have a colour television, tea and coffee making facilities. The family rooms each have a flat screen TV with a DVD player. A resident's lounge is provided with a TV, fridge, and microwave. There is ample off-road parking. Wireless internet is now available throughout.

We have no objection to guests making unlimited use of their rooms during the day. Guests are asked to vacate their rooms by 10:00am.

A strict no smoking policy operates in all bedrooms. A smoke detector system is in operation for your safety.

Breakfast is served between 8:00am - 9:30am on Monday and Tuesday, and between 8:00am - 11:00am Wednesday to Sunday. Your choice of seating in the restaurant or on the veranda, weather permitting. Breakfast can be served earlier if required, by prior arrangement.

Restaurant

During high season our popular licensed restaurant with its heated, wood decked veranda is open daily except Mondays for breakfast, coffees, snacks, lunch, teas and dinner. In low season dinner is only available on Fridays and Saturdays.
Our award winning chef, Jon Lander uses local produce with fresh fish being a speciality. Our famous Beach House fish & chips is always a favourite.

A children's menu is available up to 7pm as are vegetarian and special diet options. On Wednesday and Thursday we offer a two course lunch for £9.50 and a traditional Sunday roast at £8.75.
