Welcome to the New Beehive Inn.

The New Beehive in is a classic Edwardian Inn built in 1901. It has a unique atmosphere with five separate, gas lite bars and is described as a gem in the 'Camra stay at the inn guide'. Often quoted as being the quintessence of an English town pub, 'Beehive' is also one of the 150 pubs in the U.K listed on Camra's national inventory of outstanding character interiors.

The 17 bedrooms all with en-suite facilities, all decorated to a very high standard. All with superb views of the city owing to our hill top location with the exception of our new courtyard, ground floor room.Our bedrooms are individually decorated and furnished with antique furniture.
