 | Bere Marsh House is a 300 year old farmhouse with open fireplaces and original bread ovens.
Situated in 2 acres of garden on the edge of Shillingstone enjoying impressive views to Bulbarrow and Hambledon Hill, in an area well known for it's lovely walks, and cycle ways. A new trailway has just been opened to Sturminster Newton using the old disused railway line.
A separate staircase leads to the two B&B rooms with private bathroom, (we only let one room at a time unless all one party)
We have a large sitting room with inglenook fireplace & T.V. for guests, also a sunny conservatory packed with plants and overhead grapevine.
Breakfast is cooked on an Aga in the large family kitchen, where we also run informal cookery courses which include dinner party, Thai curry, Moroccan, a fish day, a sauce course and varions student courses that last from 1 to 5 days.
