The Appleby Manor has 30 luxurious and spotlessly-clean bedrooms, including those in the Coach House annexe (all non smoking). All the beds are of the highest quality, to guarantee a peaceful, undisturbed, good night's sleep. If you fancy a good read before bedtime, the versatile lighting will help you relax with one of the many popular books or magazines provided.

Regardless of the weather, there is always something to do at Appleby Manor Hotel. We have a full size pool table, as well as a pool! There is also table tennis for those who fancy something a bit more energetic.

Of course, you may choose to explore the wonderful countryside in the area surrounding the hotel from the Eden valley to the spectacular Lake District.

All meeting rooms have natural daylight, 13A sockets, telephone, and convenient toilets. Available on site are flipcharts, Dual-Lamp OHPs, screens, blackboard, television, video, photocopier, facsimilie, internet/e-mail, printer and a reliable efficient message-taking service. Other audio-visual equipment is available when requested in advance. There are free parking spaces on site for 50 cars, plus coaches.

There are two main meeting rooms available for conferences or small meetings:

The Garden Room is located on the ground floor overlooking the valley, and also comfortably accommodates 26 delegates boardroom-style or schoolroom-style, and 35 theatre-style.

The Settle/Carlisle Room caters admirably for smaller boardroom-style meetings with up to 12 delegates.Two further syndicate rooms are available.

Finding Us

From the North
M6 Junction 40, join the A66 towards Brough, take the Appleby turn-off, turn right immediately, follow road for half mile.

From the East
A1 (Scotch Corner), follow A66 towards Penrith, take Appleby turn-off, follow road for two-thirds mile, first right, second left, follow road for quarter mile.

From the South
M6 Junction 38, take the B6260 to Appleby, drive through the town to T Junction, turn left, first right and follow road for two-thirds mile.
