Accommodation
The hotel has 5 double rooms, 6 single rooms, 2 twin rooms and one family room most with en-suite bathing facilities. All rooms have colour tv, coffee and tea making facilities. Ironing board, irons and hairdryers can be provided upon request.Our excellent restaurant and bar can accommodate parties of up to 150 persons and a full English breakfast is served every morning. The bar and restaurant may also be booked for private functions.
Rooms are double glazed and fully heated for the comfort of our guests
For those guests who like to have a daily work-out, we are pleased to announce that the Leisure Club facilities of our neighbouring Swallow Hotel are open to our guests FREE of charge. These include; Swimming Pool, Spa Bath, Sauna, Steam Room and Gymnasium |
Getting to us:
From the South; Take the A1(M) to Granada Services at Washington and take next exit to Newcastle / Gateshead at the "Angel of the North".
Take the A167 Gateshead South, bear left at roundabout and continue for 3 miles. At the Springfield Hotel ( on your right ) take the slip road to your left and follow road (Prince Consort Road) for 1/4 mile and you will find us on the right'
From the North; Take A1 South continue to A184 Gateshead (ignore to Newcastle). Continue to mini roundabout, turn right and follow up to small roundabout, turn left and continue for 1/4 mile - we are on the left hand side.
