Why Cromer ?
Bright and breezy in the summer, Cromer stands on the cliff top behind fine sandy beaches. The town itself, which is known as the 'Gem of the North Norfolk Coast', is dominated by the lofty church tower. As stated, there is a wealth of amenities in the town and the surrounding district has much to offer - Castles, Halls, Gardens, Museums etc.
A short distance inland are attractive market towns, pretty villages and hamlets. You can enjoy the best of both coast and country at Cromer. |
Travel to Cromer ?
Probably the easiest method is by car. The main, and many of the minor roads in Norfolk are of good quality.
On Saturdays, from late May to September, coach services are operated by several companies from most parts of the Midlands, Yorkshire, London and South East England and other parts of East Anglia to Cromer.
Fast Inter-City trains connect Norwich with London, The North and Midlands. Local services operate between Cromer and Norwich.
We will be pleased to advise with possible car routes, coach and rail timings to and from Cromer.
