Built in 1853, Birds Nest Cottage, with its woodland garden and riverside location, has been an established Guest House for more than 30 years. Now under new ownership, it has recently undergone significant refurbishment, and offers modern facilities whilst maintain in many original features.

We have 6 bedrooms (2 single, 2 twin and 2 family/double), and so can accommodate groups as well as single people, couples and families. All rooms have tea & coffee making facilities and a hairdryer. Ironing facilities are available upon request.

Wireless internet connections available upon request.

We have a TV Lounge for guests and can offer free DVD loan.

Birds Nest Cottage is ideal for holiday-makers, people working away from home, and anyone looking for friendly and comfortable short or longer-term accommodation at an affordable price. Prices start from £22 per person per night, including full English or continental breakfast, vegetarians and vegans catered for. Packed lunch are available upon request.
