Bistro Prego

Bistro Prego was awarded 'Newcomer of the Year' (restaurant) by Metro Magazine in December 2007

We are the ideal choice for business lunches and accommodation, or for dinner before a performance at the Blake Theatre or The Savoy Theatre, both within a short walk.

This is an exceptional area for walkers, cyclists, canoeists and golfers. There are several excellent courses within a few miles of the town.

Monmouth

Monmouth is a delightful market town in the Wye Valley, on the English/Welsh border. Steeped in history, it has a quiet, restful atmosphere, nowhere better enjoyed than at Prego.

Church Street was once a main exit from the town and echoed with the sound of horses' hooves and the rumble of stagecoaches. Now it is pedestrianised and lined with specialist food and gifts: at the end of the street is one of the oldest theatres in Wales, offering live entertainment and newly released film feature films.
