Kevin & Carys offer a friendly welcome at this family run, non smoking hotel.
We are open February to November.
*Group bookings will be considered all year round.

Blands Cliff Lodge is ideally situated in the town centre. Only 100 metres from the sandy South Beach, and at the top of a cobbled street lined with several cafes and a wall mural called Blands Cliff. Also the same distance to the main pedestrian shopping area. There are newsagents, shops, several cafes and bars around the hotel also.
We have a variety of rooms ranging from -
Double, triple and family en-suites rooms
or Single, triple and quad rooms with private bathroom.
Plus a 4 bedroom family suite [3 x single/ 1 twin/double room] with kitchenette, toilet and shower.
Each room contains:

Tea and coffee refreshments and
Wash basin in all rooms

Bedrooms are mainly located over 2 floors with an initial flight of stairs from the lower ground floor to the bar/reception area. Access may be difficult for anyone physically challenged who cannot manage the stairs.
In the interest of other guests and fire safety please note this is a NON SMOKING guest house.
We offer Breakfast during peak season and as an optional extra in low season.
We are lucky to have several great cafes located outside our door on Blands Cliff as an alternative for dining.
Hungry later on at night??
Get a take-away meal delivered until 3am - Several menus available in the bar area.
NO NEED for a taxi back to your accommodation after a day on the beach or a night out as we are centrally located.

Cereals, fresh fruit, yoghurt, juices, tea/coffee, toast / jams & spreads.
Full Yorkshire cooked breakfast. - £29.00 p.p.p.n.

Private Parties
You can block book the whole hotel for family and friend reunions.
Group Christmas and New Year Party bookings - considered.
Price on application.
Parking is available locally using on street parking permits costing 50p for 3 days. Alternatively NCP car park (secured at night) offers our guests 50% discount off their daily rate.
Disabled access
Rooms in this hotel may not be accessible for some physically challenged people. Please enquire if in doubt.
Booking Conditions
1. No pets allowed.
2. No smoking.
3. Consideration should be given to guests sleeping after 11pm.
4. The person making the reservation is responsible for full payment of booking and the behaviour of their group
5. Bookings can be secured with your credit card number given over the phone.
6. Rooms are held until 5pm only, unless your late arrival is advised.
7. Rooms should be vacated by 10am on day of departure.
8. Baggage may be left with us for storage at owners risk until you commence your journey on.
9. Cancellation Policy: - 1st night charged unless 48 hours cancellation notice given.

Directions
From A64 (York) follow the signs for town centre. When passing Sainsbury's supermarket turn left (Victoria Road). Go over 2 traffic lights and a mini roundabout; take the next right (Queen Street). At the bottom turn left, we are located just past Argos on the right. You may turn into the cobbled street called 'BLANDS CLIFF' to find the hotel entrance. |
