Once an important Inn on the junction of the Shrewsbury and Much Wenlock coach roads, Bridge House is a Seventeenth Century Period Residence (Grade II Listed Buliding) standing on the banks of the River Severn, just a mile and a half from the home of the Industrial Revolution, Ironbridge.
Janet Hedges is your host who offers you a warm and friendly welcome. All rooms are individually decorated, giving warmth and comfort whilst blending in the beautiful Period House.
Each room is centrally heated, with tea & coffee making facilities and colour television. Private Lounge and Car Park are also provided.
Just five minutes away by car, you can explore the exciting and fascinating museums of Coalbrookdale and Ironbridge, and of course the World's First Iron Bridge.
Also nearby is the home of steam locomotion, the Severn Valley Railway; historic Much Wenlock with its Priory ruins dating back to 1080; Buildwas Abbey is just across the river from Bridge House; in all, a well suited base to explore the wonders Shropshire has to offer.
