Brook House FarmBrook House Farm

Brook House is a 250 acre stock rearing farm. Guests are welcome to watch the cows being milked and the calves being fed (but please bring your wellies). Below the farm is a brook with abundant wildlife.

There are two rooms in a converted cowshed with patio doors. One is a family room for four, the other room is a family suite comprising a double room with a twin bedded room for children. There are two rooms in the farmhouse, one double and one family room. All are traditionally furnished and decorated and have en-suite facilities, colour televisions, tea/coffee makers, radio alarms and hairdryers. All rooms are centrally heated. Guests are served with a full English breakfast in our conservatory which has splendid country views. There is a comfortable lounge with colour television and log fires in season.

BEAUTY SPOTS AND ATTRACTIONS:
In the village of Cheddleton there is a Flint Mill with working water wheels and the Churnet Valley Steam Railway. The Caldon Canal and Staffordshire Way Footpath follow the picturesque Churnet Valley. Deep Hayes Country Park, Consall Nature Park and the RSPB Coombes Valley Reserve are within the village boundaries. Dovedale, the Manifold Valley and the Roaches Rocks are some of the nearby attractions of the Peak District. There are stately homes such as Chatsworth, Haddon Hall, Shugborough and many more within easy reach.
Wedgwood, Royal Doulton and Coalport are some of the many pottery factories with their own factory shops. There is a Gladstone Pottery Museum, Chatterley Whitfield Mining Museum and the Stoke-on-Trent City Museum.All are within easy reach of Brook House Farm. There is a great family day out at Alton Towers and there are market days at the local towns of Leek, Ashbourne, Buxton and Bakewell.

DIRECTIONS:
Brook House is situated half a mile from the A520 at the end of a private drive. We are the SECOND B AND B down the lane.

If you are traveling from the south, exit M6 at junction 14, take the A34 to Stone and then the A520 for Leek. As you pass through the village of Wetley Rocks you will see a Petrol Station on your right-hand side. Approximately one mile further on you will see the Brook House sign turning you to your left.

From the north, exit the M6 at junction 18 for Holmes Chapel. Take the A54 to Congleton then follow signs for Leek. From Leek take the A520 Stone Road. After you have gone up the hill through the village of Cheddleton you will see our Brook House sign turning you to the right.
