Situated in leafy Sale, Brooklands Lodge is a unique Austrian style building, built in 1851 set in mature gardens. Within walking distance to the Metro and excellent local amenities, easy access to M56/60 Motorway links to the airport, Manchester City Centre and surrounding Cheshire countryside. At Brooklands Lodge we offer the discerning visitor a warm welcome and friendly surroundings.

LOCATION

Please see map. Brooklands Lodge is situated on the A6144 Marsland Road 1 mile from Junction 6 on the M60 Ring Road and approximately 5 miles (7km) from Manchester International Airport and City Centre.

Only two minutes walk to Brooklands Metro Station with a frequent fast service to Manchester City Centre and all local amenities.

OUR ACCOMMODATION

Our accommodation comprises of one family room, three double rooms, one twin room, one single room, all with good sized, en-suite shower rooms and one budget single room.

Relax in our cosy bedrooms all with easy chairs and remote control colour TV's and freeview sets. Each room has Breakfast Bar with mini-fridge and dressing / writing unit, tea/coffee making facilities and hair dryer. En-suites have fitted safe, shower and toilets. With your comfort in mind, all rooms have both central and locally controlled heating and are double glazed throughout. The Family, twin and Double rooms are situated on the ground floor for ease of access.

Room prices include the Healthy Option breakfast of fruit juice, yoghurt, fruit compote, cereals, tea/coffee hot chocolate and biscuits.

PAYMENT

If your accommodation was not paid for upon booking, payment is required upon arrival by cash, cheque (supported by a banker's card and proof of ID for amounts over £50.00) or credit/debit card. Please pay at reception when you collect your room key.

Please note we do not accept American Express.

RESERVATIONS

Rooms cannot be reserved unless guaranteed with a current credit/debit card (credit/debit cards expiring before the date of your reservation will not be accepted). The credit card will not be debited unless you fail to arrive and will be used as security against damage or loss to your room during your stay.

In certain circumstances a deposit may be required. Please note that we do not accept all female or all male group bookings or young adults under the age of 21 travelling alone. Proof of identity may also be required.

Cancellations will only be accepted up until twenty-four hours before you are due to arrive. Any cancellation made within twenty four hours of your expected arrival will be subject to a fee of £25.00 for a single room or £45.00 for a twin or double room booking.

ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE

You can check in any time after 4.00 pm or earlier by prior arrangement. Please note that we cannot facilitate arrivals prior to 1.00 pm and should you require your room before this time we would suggest that you reserve the room for the night before your arrival.

You are required to check out by 10.00 am on weekdays and 11.00 am on weekends.
The latest time for checking in is 10.00 pm and we do not take bookings or let rooms after this time.

BREAKFAST

A healthy option breakfast is included in the price however a hearty full English breakfast is available from 7.00 am to 9.00 am weekdays and 8.30 am to 10.00 am weekends and Bank Holidays upon request.

EVENING MEALS and ROOM SERVICE

A choice of evening meals or light snacks can be provided in your room from 17.30pm until 20.30 upon request. In addition we will be pleased to recommend several good restaurants, all within walking distance of the Lodge.

CAR PARKING

There is ample free, secure car parking for all our guests, please provide your vehicle registration to reception as clamping is in operation to prevent unauthorised parking by non-residents.

Please ensure than no valuables are left in your vehicle on view and that your vehicle is securely locked, and if available, alarmed. Better safe than sorry!

Cars are parked at owners' own risk.

PETS

One well-behaved, small dog is accepted per room subject to a deposit of £15.00 but they must not be allowed on the beds or chairs.

NO SMOKING POLICY

For the comfort of the majority of our guests, we have a strict no-smoking policy throughout the building and have been awarded the Roy Castle Silver Award for clean air. We would respectfully suggest that if you feel you cannot adhere to this policy, that you obtain alternative accommodation. Anyone found to be smoking within the guesthouse will be asked to leave immediately and no refund will be given.

Drive into the Cheshire countryside and visit Dunham or Tatton Stately homes within vast deer parks. Or try the faithfully restored Victorian village and mill at Styal.
