If you require a retreat, quiet and with good food, there is no better place to stay. We are situated between junctions 7 and 8a M40 about 9 miles from Oxford and 4 miles from Thame, a small market town, not far from the Thames and the Chilterns. Our property is on one level in a large garden with two acres of paddock, with spinney to attract wildlife.

We offer a good menu for breakfast, with as much organic or locally produced food served wherever possible. Home made bread, preserves and fruit compote mainly fruit grown from our own garden are served in the dining room. Special diets can be catered for. All eggs are from our own free range hens. Our bedrooms are peaceful, with no television, but radios are present. Robes and plenty of towels are provided with English Lavender products available for pampering and relaxing. In the winter we have a cosy fire for you to sit by and in the summer you are most welcome to use the garden and watch our ornamental bantams and pet hens wandering about. We have two cats that mainly sleep all day.

There are many pubs that serve good food locally, and Le Manor aux Quat Saisons one of the best restaurants in the country, the Swan Antiques Centre and Waterperry Gardens all just 2 miles away. Pretty villages and lovely countryside with plenty of walks await to be explored. Fishing and golf clubs are also close by. Visit Oxford, Blenheim Palace, Windsor, Henley on Thames, Stratford on Avon, non of these are very far from us. With many national Trust Properties and gardens to choose from. Come and stay with us and have a wonderful relaxing time away from it all.
