The original Manor House dates back to 1648, and more recently the outbuildings have been converted to provide most of the accommodation. We now have 40 bedrooms, including large family units, all with en-suite bathrooms, fridge, satellite TV and DVD/CD player.
Close to the beach and Hunstanton Golf Club, the romantic setting of Caley Hall Hotel is ideal for exploring Hunstanton and the north Norfolk coast. |
Arran & Jo welcome you to their home in the quiet village of Old Hunstanton. Established in 1976, Caley Hall Hotel and Restaurant continues to provide a high standard of accommodation, good food and service for its guests. You will notice a relaxed atmosphere here, although our staff are always helpful and attentive.
Built in 1648, the original Manor House was part of the Le Strange estate. In 1976 the property changed hands and began trading as a small hotel. Over the past twenty years the old barns, stables and outbuildings have been converted and extended to provide the bulk of the well equipped en-suite bedrooms, as well as the restaurant and bar. During the early part of 2007 we have now completely re-furnished all of the rooms, the restaurant and the bar/lounge area. We are a three star hotel with a high "quality score" of 80% (The A.A.).
Most of the rooms are at ground floor level, and many of these are equipped for the mobility impaired, including 2 rooms with a level access shower, making Caley Hall the ideal choice. For a romantic break we also have a room with a four poster bed, and also a luxury 2 room suite with a whirlpool bath.
