WELCOME TO THE CARLTON MANOR

The Carlton Manor hotel is a 19th Century manor house, set in the depths of the beautiful East Suffolk countryside. It has 14 comfortable bedrooms, a recently refurbished bar and restaurant, and two function rooms the Manor and the Colville which can accommodate up to 200 and 70 guests respectively.

Located next to the seaside town of Lowestoft, the hotel is an ideal base from which to explore some of the finest areas of East Anglia; from the beautiful Broads to the attractions of Norwich, Great Yarmouth and beautiful Suffolk countryside, its location is ideal for the purpose of your visit.

The hotel is now under new ownership and is in the process of undergoing total refurbishment.

King prawns in fragrant Thai hot and sour broth
Roast queenie Scallops and artichokes with crispy bacon salad
Buffalo Mozzarella, Parma Ham, roasted pepper, rocket and parmesan salad
Poached asparagus, poached egg parmesan and balsamic
Classic Caesar salad with crispy bacon
Chicken liver pate with sultana and marsala chutney and garlic foccacia
Crisp spiced confit duck leg, roast plum and pine nut salad
Fresh water crayfish cocktail with fennel, orange and spring onion salad.



Main Course
Steamed Seabass with spring onion and ginger on wok fried Asian vegetables and noodles in a spiced coconut broth
Roast Cod steak, onion, bacon and cabbage, rosti potato, Dijon cream
Seared Peppered Tuna stead with fresh cut Greek salad and marinated feta
Char grill fillet stead, roast tomatoes, thyme mushrooms, chunky chips, onion rights, garden peas and peppercorn sauce
Roast rump of English Lamb with roast Mediterranean vegetables served with sweet potato chips on the side
Char Grill Butterfly lemon and thyme chicken breast with roast balsamic cherry tomatoes, potato and bacon salad.
Crisp Salmon and crab Fish cake with fennel and Parsley, creamed leeks
Asparagus risotto with Gruyere cheese, lemon and rocket pesto
Slow roast Port belly, grain mustard mash, braised cabbages, thyme jus

Sides
Hand cut chips, new potatoes, panache of seasonal vegetables, mixed salad, tomato shallot and basil salad or Rocket and parmesan salad.
