| Formerly the Carmelite Monastery of Presteigne, Carmel Court stands at the Eastern entrance to this peaceful border town in the stunning Marches of Wales. In addition to bed & breakfast accommodation in the house and the adjoining cottage there are now apartment self-catering facilities. There is ample parking space & secure storage for bicycles.
The exquisite chapel adjacent to the house was built by the Carmelites themselves & continues to serve as the R.C. Parish Church for the Presteigne area. Mass is celebrated here on 4 days a week & other denominations are well catered for in the town. Shops, hostelries & restaurants are a few minutes' walk away - historic Offa's Dyke a little further! The Mortimer Trail is the latest addition to the many walks in the area.
