Mike and Suzy welcome you to Castell Malgwyn Hotel. Our fantastic Georgian, family run country house is set within acres of beautiful grounds, boasting its own private stretch of river fishing. You will be treated with the warmest of hospitality, setting the tone for your stay and creating an atmosphere which will make you feel completely relaxed.

A fine feature of this mansion is the grand staircase leading from the main hall .

The original south facing window on the first floor affords a magnificent view of the south grounds.

The 17 en-suite bedrooms are individually designed and comfortably furnished, offering fine views over the estate and the river. Accommodation is offered for single, twin, double or family guests all with colour television, tea and coffee making facilities. Four Poster, Superior & Standard rooms are available. All visitors to the hotel are given individual treatment and any additional requests are happily met, wherever possible.

From the comfort of the lounge bar one can admire the stunning views of the front grounds and lawn.

After dinner relax with coffee and liqueurs in front of a roaring log fire, and soak up the tranquil atmosphere.

The intimate restaurant boasts a fine reputation for food and award winning service. A La Carte meals are served each evening and also for Sunday lunch. It is a popular venue for special occasions and celebrations.

The ballroom can very comfortably accommodate 200 people and is regularly booked for wedding receptions, banquets, dinner dances for residents, as well as conferences and meetings.

Directions

The A484 from Carmarthen skirts the river Teifi, 3 miles after Cenarth enter the village of Llechryd. Turn left over the bridge, then turn right through the imposing gateway to the hotel. The tree lined drive sweeps past the clock tower and stables to the car park in front of the mansion.

From Aberystwyth or Fishguard take the A487 to Cardigan. At the roundabout turn left onto the A484 (signposted Newcastle Emlyn & Carmarthen) continue for 3 miles into the village of Llechryd. At the bottom of the hill where the road bends to the left, turn right across the bridge, then turn right through the imposing gateway to the hotel.

We offer a variation of Tariffs for weekend breaks, conference, fishing breaks and groups along with our Easter, Christmas and New Year Programmes, where brochures are available on request.

We do not charge for children under the age of 3 when they share their parents room, only food is charged for.

Dogs are welcome in the hotel in certain bedrooms and the bar area.

We are able to offer you a choice of Single, Double or Twin accommodation all of which have en-suite facilities, colour television, tea and coffee making facilities and attractive far reaching views of the grounds. For families who prefer to be accommodated together we offer large family rooms and baby cots are available on request.
