The Award Winning Castle Lodge Guest Accommodation was built in the Edwardian Era and has been an established hotel for a considerable period. Whilst care has been taken to retain many of the original features, it now provides comfortable and attractive accommodation for guests to relax and enjoy their stay. The hotel is under the personal supervision of its owners, John and Margaret Dugdall who, together with their staff, aim to provide a warm and friendly atmosphere.
The south-facing hotel is situated in a quiet area within a few metres of the Cliff Gardens, promenade and Spa Pavilion. It is also close to the main shopping centre.

The hotel is very spacious and pleasantly appointed. A large elegant reception area leads to the comfortable south-facing lounge where guests can relax at any time of the day and in the wintertime a real coal fire can be enjoyed.

Enjoy a meal in the dining room where a reputation for home-cooked meals has been established. Special and low-fat diets including vegetarian meals are catered for by prior arrangement. A choice of menu is also available.
A selection of wines or locally brewed beers can be obtained from the small bar.

There are 11 guest bedrooms, most offering sea views and have en-suite facilities.
All are fully centrally heated: with tea and coffee making facilities and colour television.
A ground floor twin-bedded room particularly suitable for disabled guests is available. The room has a toilet and shower en-suite and access on to the front garden where guests may sit and enjoy the sea air.

TURKEY AND TINSEL BREAKS 2007
Enjoy a three day pre Christmas break in pleasant surroundings in this 12 bedroom, centrally situated hotel.
Whilst no formal entertainment is planned it is expected that guests will be able to relax and enjoy home cooked Christmas Fayre in a friendly, convivial atmosphere just prior to Christmas.

Sunday 16th December
8:30am - 9:00am full English breakfast
1:00pm - 5 course lunch
7:00pm onwards - cold buffet
17th December
Full English breakfast served between 8:30am and 9:00am, prior to departure during the morning.
