| Chimneys is a long established, family-run guest house, situated on Preston New Road, the A677 from Preston to Blackburn. You get an immediate sense of comfort and a home from home feeling as you enter the main hallway when you are greeted by the resident pooch, Jesse the Scottie. | |
 | Guest Rooms All 11 guest rooms have been individually designed. Some are ensuite and others boast great views high over the town. All rooms are centrally heated and have colour televisions
On the top floor, we have 5 bedrooms and there is also a landing area where we offer the use of an iron and ironing board, together with a fridge, microwave and tea and coffee-making facilities. |

From M6 From the north, take junction 31 signposted for Clitheroe and Preston. Join A677 as soon as you leave motorway. Continue along for approximately 15 minutes. As you approach the town centre, look out for Chimneyson the right hand side.
From M65 Junction 3 pick up the A674 for Blackburn. At traffic lights, turn right and head down towards a mini-roundabout with the Fielden Arms Pub on the right. Continue along for approximately 8 minutes. Past Witton Park on your left and at the bottom, at the traffic lights, take a left up Buncer Lane. Carry on up all the way to the top. Mini-roundabout and Church on your right. Go right on the Preston New Road and 1/4 mile down on the right is the Chimneys.
The Chimneys Guest House is a 10 minute walk from the town centre and is only 15 minutes to Preston by car. There is also a very good bus and rail service and excellent motorway links with all the major roads. Blackpool and Manchester are only a 40 minute car journey.
