A Village School until 1982, the Cholmondeley Arms was elegantly converted in 1988 into one of the truly exceptional pubs in the country.

Set in quiet countryside adjacent to the Parks and Gardens of the historic Cholmondeley Castle, the Cholmondeley Arms has justifiably been consistently voted as one of the countries truly great pubs of the Millenium.

The Cholmondeley Arms offers award winning homemade food as well as superbly comfortable accommodation, all situated in the peaceful environment of South Cheshire.

Across from the original playground of the old school, is the secluded School House which now provides six comfortable, individually designed bedrooms.

They are all of considerable quality and character, and there are both Double or Twin beds available.

All are fully centrally heated.

The Cholmondeley Arms is situated on the A49 in Cheshire adjacent to the parks and gardens of the historic Cholmondeley Castle, between Whitchurch and Tarporley.

The map location is Bickley Moss as Cholmondeley does not feature on many maps.

We are convenient for the M6 , M56 and M54 leading to all parts of the country.
