A warm welcome awaits you at Ravenstone Guesthouse, previously known as Church Lane Farmhouse, set in the Domesday village of Ravenstone. Ours is an artistic household. The rooms are furnished to a high degree of style and comfort, the guest sitting room has an Inglenook fireplace complete with log-burning stove. There is a teletext television and hot drinks and biscuits there as well.

All the bedrooms have colour televisions radio alarms; kettles etc as well as en-suite facilities which all include a w.c. The Scythe Bar. For residents and guests offers a selection of soft drinks. Local and imported beers, spirits and moderately priced wines to complement the variety of home-cooked meals which are prepared with the highest quality of local ingredients and cooked with a hint of continental or Eastern influence served in our beamed dining room. Vegetarian meals are prepared in separate utensils.

House parties for four or six persons can be arranged. Packed lunches may be ordered. Other local attractions are Calke Abbey. Melbourne Hall. Ashby de la Zouch Castle and Musuem. Donnington Manor and Bredon Church. Castle Donnington and Mallory Park circuits. Bosworth Field and Market Bosworth with its street market. The award winning Snibston Theme Park. The Hermitage Leisure Centre a venue for Collectors and Antique Fairs.

The Mount St. Bernard's Abbey where retreats may be taken and prayer days are held. Springs Hydro for relaxation and treatments. The Great Central railway at Loughborough has live steam days. For the sporting person there are many golf courses and riding can be arranged. Walks from the village feature the Swannington Incline Trail and the old road to Packington, the Mining Heritage Trail and Charnwood Forest.

In our kitchen we use only the best ingredients with local organically grown vegetables whenever possible and out meat is from know and reliable sources.
