Clan Macduff Hotel, Fort William, Front of Building

Welcome to the Clan Macduff Hotel, which is situated 2 miles south of Fort William on the A82. The hotel is built on a two-acre site overlooking the waters of Loch Linnhe and the Morvern Mountains and has a large car park providing ample car parking for guests.

The hotel has been personally managed by the Fyfe family for over 40 years and we offer our guests a quiet and friendly country setting, yet only 2 miles from the facilities of Fort William. The public rooms provide comfortable areas to relax in after a day touring/ travelling, with views to remind you that this is one of the most beautiful parts of Britain.

The hotel's situation is ideal for visiting a large area of the West Highlands, with a great variety of scenery and only minutes from the quiet Highland life. The magnificent peaks of Glencoe, the fine sandy beaches of Morar and the sweeping sea lochs give a constant variety of scenery and it's all yours to explore.

The relics of the old clan system are abundant, castles at every prominent point and the crofting system still very much alive. Glenfinnan was where Bonnie Prince Charlie gathered the clans to fight for his claim to throne, and the museum in Fort William gives a good insight into this and the area's history.

For those who enjoy outdoor activities most are catered for in this area, hill walking, climbing, sailing, canoeing, fishing, pony trekking, windsurfing, mountain biking, golf and many more all within ten miles.
