The Coach House Hotel, primarily built of local flint and previously known as the Coach and Horses Inn, has maintained its old world charm and offers a warm friendly welcome to all our guests. After major refurbishment by the new management it now has all modern facilities. Nestled amongst plush farmland, this pretty old coaching inn situated on the A505 and just minutes from J10 of the M11 is easily accessible from the A10 and A11 Once here you can either relax in our acre gardens or if your sense of adventure gets the better of you, why not visit some of the prettiest and historical towns around. We are ideally located for Hitchen and Royston to the west, Cambridge to the north, Duxford and Newmarket to the east and of course the pretty market town of Bishops Stortford and Stansted to the south. All locations are approximately 20 minutes from The Coach House Hotel! With a traditionally English restaurant, bar and private parking for 100 cars, our 22 newly upgraded ensuite bedrooms are designed with your comfort and care in mind. The soothing sounds of our renaissance styled fountain in the courtyard enhance the feeling of relaxed tranquillity. The Coach House Hotel has 22 bedrooms all recently refurbished with comfort and individuality being our priority. All are centrally heated, ensuite and have remote controlled television, clock/radio, trouser press, hairdryer and hospitality trays, and direct modem access for the internet. The hotel has 3 separate wings all surrounding our beautifully rebuilt courtyard that has the soothing sounds of our renaissance style water feature. The majority of the individually decorated rooms overlook the courtyard. Family rooms in the rear wing are perfect for that extended stay at affordable rates. We cannot be beaten! The restaurant, which is open to non-residents, specialises in fresh local produce presenting value for money. The restaurant, which has a modern contemporary feel, seats up to 60 comfortably and has plentiful parking. The windows on the side of the restaurant overlook our pretty lit courtyard featuring our renaissance styled fountain. The Coach House Hotel is easily found just 5 minutes from Junction 10 off the M11 towards Royston and 20 minutes drive to Stansted Airport. The famous Imperial War Museum at Duxford is also just minutes away. We are ideally located for visitors to Bassingbourn Barracks. Directions: Take junction 10 off the M11.
