COLINDALE is a Victorian house of great charm and character, situated on the Chelston edge of Torre Abbey grounds with its lakes, gardens and walks, and is only 300 yards from the beach.
The Colindale has been awarded Four Stars for guest comfort from the AA, and Visit Britain.
The railway station is 200 yards away, and the marina, theatre, harbour and town with its wonderful shopping malls, are approximately 15 minutes level walk through the beautiful Torre Abbey Gardens.
Torquay, with its wonderful amenities, has always attracted the holidaymaker and the business visitor. |

| The water and other leisure activities enhance the natural beauty of the resort sited on its famous seven green hills. To this has been added two quite different, but equally appealing shopping centres. The smaller one is a result of the conversion of the elegant Pavilion Theatre overlooking the Marina. The other is Fleet Walk, a stylishly built and most attractive shopping mall, boasting the finest clothes shops as well as many other interesting outlets. |

The Riviera Centre, which is only about ten minutes amble from the Colindale, has a wavemaking pool, a flume ride and spa pool, as well as other leisure facilities.
The beautiful thatched cottages of Cockington lies just a mile away in its magnificent wood and parkland setting. It can be approached by horse-drawn carriage, the terminus for which is just 800 yards away.
Still within Torbay and lying six miles to the west is Brixham with its famous harbour, quaint little lanes and alleyways, and of course, its famous fishing fleet. A wonderful days outing, Brixham can be easily reached by car or, in season, by passenger ferries which sail from Torquay Harbour.
Within just a few minutes there are so many beautiful spots to visit. Mediaeval Totnes, with its many antiquities, sits on the River Dart and is well worth a visit as are the many villages around Dartmoor such as Widecombe-ln-The-Moor, home of the famous fair and well-loved folk song, 'Widecombe Fair'. |

All rooms are en-suite and well furnished and everything that can be done, is done to make our guests feel absolutely at home. The lounge is particularly comfortable and large enough for guests to watch television, read or quietly relax with a glass of wine.
There is a wonderful selection of books and videos which guests may use for their enjoyment.
