Dining

At the heart of every great hotel is the cuisine, and we are particularly proud of ours. The food at The Coniston Hotel is outstanding and justifiably famous amongst those who enjoy beautifully cooked and exquisitely presented food.
Our menus have an international flavour yet still maintain a strong Yorkshire tradition, with produce from the Coniston Estate featuring regularly. There are also a number of menu choices for the children. However, we believe that fine dining is about more than food alone – it is about the entire dining experience: combining the range of menu choices, taste and presentation of the food with friendly yet discreet service and the atmosphere and surroundings in which the food is served.

 | If you are looking for something more informal, you can also enjoy an inspired choice of food, fine wines and beers besides the open fire in our comfortable bar, or in our stunning new Orangery. |
We have private rooms available for lunches, dinners, parties and functions, accommodating small numbers for intimate dinners right up to buffet parties for 300 guests.
