Our delightful stone built cottage, dating from the 17th Century is situated in the beautiful Cordwell Valley, on the edge of the Peak District National Park, yet only 20 minutes from Chesterfield and Sheffield.

Our bedrooms, which are of the highest standard, have colour television, tea and coffee making facilities.
Local attractions include Chatsworth House, Haddon hall and HardwickHall, which are only 10 - 15 minutes drive away.

As we are only 200 yards from the Peak District National Park, many of our guests enjoy the walking and climbing that is available in the wide variety of countryside just on our doorstep. |

How to find us
Leave M1 at junction 29, follow the signs to Chesterfield A617. At the end of the dual carriageway proceed up the hill passed the Crooked Spire Church on the left hand side round the corner to a roundabout / car park. ¾ way round the roundabout turn left by the Jet Garage. Take the B6051 road to Barlow.
Continue through Barlow to Millthorpe. You will see the Royal Oak Public House on your right hand side. Continue passed the Holmesfield Cricket pitch on your left-hand side to a farm on your right hand side. We are just passed the farm on the bend (large beech tree with a sign Chapel Cottage) turn right up long drive.
