We are open all year round for short or long stays and quiet weekend breaks. Corner House is a family run, refurnished hotel on the approach to Carlisle City Centre. All rooms are en-suite with colour television, telephone, tea and coffee making facilities, hair dryer, clock radio, toiletries, etc..

Carlisle
Carlisle is an excellent base to tour our beautiful Lake District, the famous Hadrian's Wall and Gretna Green - famous for the run away marriages. Then the border region, with it's lovely old market towns. Just 10 miles away is the border with Bonny Scotland and a visit to the home of the poet Rabbie Burns in Dumfries. Glasgow and Edinburgh are just one and a half hours away.
