This Mansion House captures the very essence of early English life within its historic walled grounds with endless features for you to enjoy.
Here in Robin Hood country you can pursue the legend from the authenticity of the very fabric known to have existed at the time of Robin of Loxley and the Earl of Huntingdon. Cromwell certainly stayed here but did Robin visit the eight hundred year old, four trunk tree at the heart of the Manor drive?
The quest for Robin Hood and his image is replicated throughout the county but here both King Richard the Lionheart and his brother John shared our titled land. |
