Converted from Victorian Houses, the hotel has 24 stylish bedrooms, each with private bathroom and toilet. They are all pleasantly furnished and include colour television, direct dial telephone and tea/coffee making facilities. Choose from single, double or family rooms or alternatively indulge in the luxury and romantic atmosphere of the Non smoking superior, double bedded rooms and four poster suites (ground floor rooms available). Relax in our cosy, beside flickering firelight and a Yorkshire range with coffee and dinner drinks from the bar.

Unfortunately we cannot guarantee a car parking space. In the event that the car park is full there is off the street parking on the next road and there is a public car park 500 yard away. The car park gates are locked every night at 10pm and are not unlocked again until 7:30am. Because the Cottage Hotel is privately owned and managed by us, we can give careful attention to your individual needs so you can enjoy yourself to the full - park your car in our private car park to the rear of the building and stroll into York and explore the delights of the city at your leisure. Alternatively take a drive to the Yorkshire Moors, Dales and the East Coast, all no more than an hour away. "We look forward to welcoming you!"
