Feel the glow of the Scottish Borders and experience hospitality that you will always remember, here at Crailing Old School. Now converted to a charming private house and gardens, though retaining its original character, the building is a fine example of late nineteenth century architecture.

It is peacefully situated close to the River Teviot, with panoramic views, just off the A698, which links the historic towns of Jedburgh and Kelso. Excellent base for golfers, especially those wanting to combine playing some of the 22 courses of the Borders with tuition, swing analysis and club fitting from our resident Golf Pro. /Club Maker (ask about the freedom of the Fairways Passport!) Right on route for St Cuthbert's Way, walkers find here a haven to relax after the rigours of the day. If those tired feet can't manage the last few miles, a "pick-up" service can be arranged back to Crailing. Fly fishing can be arranged on the River Teviot. |

Jean and Ray look forward to making your stay here a happy, relaxed, and very memorable one. This spacious, comfortable and elegantly furnished visitor lounge and dining room, has large windows on three sides, giving uninterrupted views over the surrounding countryside.

Whether visitors require a very early start to the day, or a more leisurely one, the variety of the breakfast menu is sure to please and satisfy all appetites. Memorable evening meals, with choice of menu, using local produce whenever possible, are also a speciality of Crailing Old School. When advised in advance, individual diets are happily catered for. If you are celebrating a birthday or anniversary, let us help to make it really special. |

We have a variety of accommodation for up to 6 guests.
The cosy bedrooms are furnished with care and attention to detail. The extra touches are sure to be appreciated by our discerning guests. The double en-suite "Maple" room has a king size bed and definate Canadian Theme. The cosy twin-bedded "Birdie", and two single rooms, "Eagle" and "Albatross" are charmingly furnished and have private bathroom and separate shower room facilities.
The Lodge Annexe, 10 meters from the main house provides ground floor/disabled access accommodation with twin beds (can be made up as a double) lounge and bathroom with shower. Breakfast is usually served in the main house, but can be served in the lodge where disability makes access to the lounge difficult.
The landscaped garden, large fish pond and patio area, are there to be shared and enjoyed by our visitors. The parking area, large enough for several cars, is within the grounds. In the summer months and weather permitting, our visitors may like to enjoy a barbecue on a fine evening.
