Weddings & Celebrations

Wedding venue
Crockwell is the perfect venue for an idyllic wedding reception. If you are looking for a slightly unusual wedding, or a country wedding, we will make sure you have the wedding reception you dream of.

The original 18th Century oak beamed hall provides a superb reception area for weddings and parties. Guests arrive to drinks served in the hall, on the terrace or in the gardens.

Crockwell is exclusively yours for the day so you are welcome to enjoy the beautiful Northamptonshire surroundings in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.

Guests are seated in our permanent marquee, which is attached to the hall and used all year round. It is sited within the farm barns, so has more protection from the elements than an outside marquee - and of course it is fully heated throughout. The marquee seats up to 170 people and also combines a dedicated bar area. The front wall of the marquee has enormous windows either side of the double doors giving access to a great undercover barbecue area and the fantastic view - perfect for that country wedding.

Out & About

If you are the energetic sort, or wish to entertain your guests, then you need not look far for the ideal venue. Crockwell's well-stocked lakes offer great coarse fishing, with trout fishing also available nearby. We have our own stabling - and cross-country schooling facilities, golf, clay-pigeon shooting and motor sports are all easily accessible. There are also wonderful walks and bridleways from the door.

B & B near Silverstone
Crockwell is located near Silverstone Circuit. Silverstone is most famous for its Grand Prix racing, and can make for a great day out. Why not use our bed and breakfast as a base for race meetings or the many other activities held there throughout the year?

We also have the facility for helicopter landing and take-off, which can be especially useful over the busy Grand Prix period.

The countryside in this part of Northamptonshire is beautiful and remains undiscovered, making Crockwell great for a holiday or short break. We pride ourselves on providing a superb bed and breakfast service; and B & B at Crockwell is defined by our attention to detail, the quality of cooking and the idyllic location.

After all this activity you will probably have built up a thirst and an appetite. The Royal Oak in Eydon (owned by us, and run by Justin and Bronwyn LeFevre) has an excellent reputation for food and hospitality, and people travel for miles around to enjoy the unique surroundings of the 17th Century ironstone inn.
