Crossways House was completely renovated in 1921 by the shipping magnate Owen Williams who ran The Golden Cross Line from Cardiff.

It is a beautiful country mansion with an impressive turret, wood panelling, carved hall ceiling winding staircase and attractive, individually designed bedrooms.

The house is set in open countryside in 6 acres of grounds with a tennis court and an excellent breakfast of local produce. It is a comfortable family home offering a warm welcome to guests.

We are situated just one mile outside the historic and picturesque town of Cowbridge which is known for its many smart shops, pubs and restaurants - there are also two pubs within walking distance of the house both serving food.

Crossways House is 10 miles west of Cardiff, 5 miles south of the M4 Junction 35 and 5 miles from the Heritage Coast - ideal for all visitors to the Cardiff an Vale of Glamorgan.

The Prince's Room
A beautiful large room overlooking the garden, with one king sized double bed and space for up to three more single beds. Large private bathroom opposite.

The Woodlands
A large twin bedded room with en suite bathroom overlooking the woods.

Brecon View
A large room with double bed, en suite shower and a view up towards the mountains.

All rooms have televisions and tea/ coffee/ hot chocolate and biscuits.

The Ballroom Flat
Converted from the first floor Ballroom into a self-contained flat consisting of a bedroom with a double bed, living room with double sofa bed, dining area and kitchen, washing machine and telephone. Separate bathroom with in bath shower and hallway.
