Nestling on the side of the Mendip Hills, Daneswood Hotel enjoys breathtaking views over the Somerset countryside, and the Bristol Channel, yet is only a short distance from Bristol/Airport and access to the M5.

Built in Edwardian times as a homeopathic hydro, its wonderful situation and relaxing atmosphere meant it was ideal to be sympathetically transformed into a fine characterful hotel.

The bedrooms are generously proportioned, comfortable, and individually decorated. The Honeymoon Suite, with its seven foot King size bed, and the Victorian Four Poster are amongst the 17 charming rooms.

The award winning Restaurant is featured in many guides, and offers traditional cuisine with modern influences. Each dish is individually prepared using seasonal fresh ingredients and local produce.

Lunch and Dinner are available each day of the week, and if you are staying, breakfast can be enjoyed in the sunny conservatory, with its views across the Channel to the Brecon Beacons.

We specialise in Meetings/Conferences, Wedding Receptions and "away days".

Places of interest to visit are Bath, Bristol, Cheddar, Glastonbury, Street (Clark's factory village), Wedmore, Wells and Weston-super-Mare.

For walkers, the hotel grounds offer direct access to the Mendip Walkway.
