Situated on the banks of the river Sheppey, a special welcome awaits you at our friendly, award winning Georgian farmhouse. Enjoy a hot cuppa or a cool drink on arrival with a delicious slice of homemade cake.

Begin the day with one of our scrumptious breakfasts. Our menu has alot to choose from: traditional farmhouse breakfast - succulent posh bangers- pancake frutie-West country kippers.... all in all there are a dozen different breakfasts to suit most dietry requirements plus a breakfast bar of cereals, yoghurts,compots, cheese, fresh fruit and juices. Bread is homemade and tomatoes and grapes come from our greenhouse when in season. Local produce is used wherever possible. Highchairs and cots are available for little legs.

All bedrooms are ensuite with towels, colour TV/ DVD/FREEVIEW, hairdryer, beverage tray and touch lighting. Beds have deep pocket sprung mattresses to ensure a good nights sleep. All ground floor areas and one bedroom are accessible by wheelchair.

The Guest Lounge has a wide screen TV, free internet access and a piano, and during the whole of December it is decorated in traditional fashion ready for the Christmas season.

The Games room boasts a full size snooker table, tennis table, darts and shove ha'panny plus a wealth of up to date information on the whole of Somerset.

This delightful barn conversion, adjacent to the farmhouse, offer the choice of self catering accomodation or bed and breakfast. Its splendid beamed lounge, with inglenook fireplace and log burner, has a colour TV and DVD. There is a dining room, handsomely furnished in a Jacobean oak style, and for self catering guests, an attractive and extremely functional kitchen. Oven and hob, larder, fridge/freezer and microwave are all provided plus additional facilities such as low and standard height worktops and adjustable sink.

Two first floor bedrooms both have en-suite facilities with power showers, while the ground floor bedroom has been carefully designed to allow turning space for wheelchairs and has extra wide doorways, and a large en-suite with wheel - in power shower, two lever-tap basins. All bedrooms have colour TV/ DVD/FREEVIEW and hairdryers. Two extra folding beds are also available.

Swallow Barn is central heated throughout and guests are welcome to use the games room and laundrette.

Smoke and fire detectors are installed, along with a help-call system.

Swallow Barn is totally non-smoking except for the garden.
