| Welcome to Downlands House An elegantly appointed large Victorian town house, ideally situated between Westbury on Trym and Clifton, convenient for the city, University, and halls of residence. We are easily reached from the M4 and M5 Motorways. Downlands has retained the charm and atmosphere of a large family house for those who do not enjoy the somewhat soulless anonymity of the modern hotel. |
| Downlands is situated on the edge of Bristol's famous Dirdham Downs and is only a short drive to Clifton and the city's places of interest and business centre. We are conveniently placed for the Glen BUPA Hospital, Southmead Hospital, Airbus and Rolls Royce. There are a number of restaurants, and local shops within a short walking distance of Downlands. | A total of ten rooms, which include single, twin and double bedded rooms, are available. Most with en suite facilities. There is also a large double room on the ground floor with bath & shower. Each room also has colour TV, hairdryer and tea/coffee hospitality trays. |

Booked Rooms Booked rooms are held until 6:00pm unless notified of a late arrival. Cancellation Policy Cancellation less than 72 hours before booking is due to commence renders deposit non-refundable. | How to Find Us From M5 Exit Junction 17, to Westbury-on-Trym & City Centre, prior to reaching the Downs you will pass private girls schools on both sides of the road. Henleaze Gardens is on the left hand side. From M4 Leave at Junction 19, taking the M32 southound and exit immediately at the first junction, turn right at roundabout (A4174 - signposted Filton). Proceed for approximately 2 miles straight across roundabouts until the 5th roundabout when you turn left into Henleaze Road, continue for 3/4 mile and turn right into Henleaze Gardens. |
