Situated in the heart of Nidderdale, "The Courtyard" at Duke's Place isa wonderful, relaxing place to stay, yet only 15 minutes drive to thespa town of Harrogate.

Three charming Bed & Breakfast rooms await you inthe owner's Georgian home which, with the working stables, helps to forman enclosed courtyard that features a fountain in the centre creating atranquil environment and a relaxing atmosphere.

Our three well appointed guest bedrooms, each with its own individualcharacter, and situated in the main house.
All three enjoy the tranquillity of the setting with not a main road orstreet lamp to be seen.
All three also enjoy beautifully fitted shower/bathrooms.

We have a.....
Double Room, with Jacuzzi Bathroom and Shower.
Twin Room 1 with en-suite shower.
Twin Room 2 with en-suite shower.

Our B&B Guests also have use of a beautiful Lounge with huge windowsoverlooking our gardens - a perfect place to unwind after a long walk.

There is also the Dining Room, with similar views over the gardens andfields.
Each of the no smoking bedrooms is available on a bed and breakfastbasis.

Guests who choose to tour the Dales and visit the many beauty spots orhistorical buildings that are on our doorstep can be assured that upontheir return they can unwind at their leisure and enjoy the manyfacilities that The Courtyard has to offer.

You may wish to simply relax and talk over the day's events in ourpeaceful surroundings whilst the children play in the log cabinplayhouse in the Beech Wood.
On the other hand you may elect to takeadvantage of our stables and go pony trekking, or stroll through thegrounds where hens, ducks and geese freely wander, often followed bytheir offspring.

We have 16 acres of grassland associated with Duke'sPlace, frequented by our horses and sheep, so there is plenty of scopefor wandering.

Duke's Place prides itself on its floral displays, with the patios andcourtyard a mass of colour throughout most of the year.

The grounds are there to be enjoyed, the Beech Wood and fields providingample space for children to play and dogs to be exercised. Bed &Breakfast guests can avail themselves of the owners garden andsummerhouse at the front of the house.

The area is steeped in heritage with outstanding historical attractionssuch as Fountains Abbey and Ripley Castle both of which are less than 5minutes drive away. Many more notable sites can be easily reached fromthe Courtyard, with Brimham Rocks, Ripon Cathedral, the picturesquemarket town of Knaresborough and Harrogate with its ConferenceFacilities no more than 15 minutes away by car.
