Escape to the peace and tranquillity of Eddrachilles Hotel, magnificently situated at the head of the island-studded Badcall Bay, two miles south of the village of Scourie.
Standing in its own 3 acres of garden, the former manse of Eddrachilles Parish, this 18th Century building has been completely refurbished, whilst maintaining the character of older times.

Open March to October inclusive, fully licensed. All bedrooms are en-suite, and have the following facilities, direct dial telephone, radio and T.V. Coffee and Tea making facilities, hair dryer, and trouser press and ironing facilities.

The restaurant serves fresh local produce: Seafood from Kinlochbervie and lochinver. Locally caught prawns, crabs, lobster and mussels. Salmon from Loch Duart and organic salmon from the Orkneys.We use the best butcher in the Highlands for Aberdeen Angus Beef, and best Scotch Lamb, and the Achiltibuie Smokehouse for salmon and kippers. Puddings, desserts, jams, Chutneys and tablet are all home-made.

We have an extensive wine list of over 70 bins and a rather large selection of malts.

Eddrachilles Hotel is perfect for exploring the North West Highlands.

Although this is not a fishing hotel, for those who would like a day on a loch, the hotel has free access to two lochs, there is also a local angling club for brown trout in Scourie with access to over 30 lochs, membership is available to our guests at a moderate charge.

Set in an idyllic location, dozens of species of bird, otters and seals can be seen from the hotel on walks through the grounds.

Handa Island bird sanctuary with its magnificent cliffs and stacks is only a few miles to the North. Boat trips across the short stretch of water can be made from Tarbet.

To the South are the waterfalls of Eas-coul-aluin, which with a fall of 658ft are the tallest in Britain.

To the North are expansive sandy beaches all but deserted, stretching for miles.
Probably the finest in the country is Sandwood Bay.

For the walker and climber, there is a wide variety of options, the higher mountains and Munroe's are within easy reach, while nearby one can walk and enjoy the deserted beaches and wild rugged scenery of the hills, rocks and thousands of small lochs set in a landscape which has remained unaltered, with not a sign of man's existence.

Confirmation
A deposit of £50 per room is due on confirmation. This is not normally refundable on cancellation or if the booking is cut short at any stage.

Insurance
A policy covering cancellation charges, your luggage, personal effects etc can be taken out from £9 per person. Details will be sent with your confirmation.

Cancellation Policy
If you have to cancel your holiday, Eddrachilles Hotel will make the following charges if we are unable to re-let the room:
Cancellation after booking, the full deposit is charged.
Cancellation made within 2-4 weeks prior to arrival, 60% of full holiday price will be charged.
Cancellation made within 0-2 weeks prior to arrival, 100% of full holiday price will be charged.
