Edge Hall was built in 1590 and is certainly one of the oldest houses standing in Hadleigh High Street. At that time it was called "The Cross". In the early 1700's it was substantially rebuilt in its present form. The work included the formation of a new Georgian façade and a fine staircase to enhance the flag stoned hallway.

Situated in one of the most picturesque areas of Britain "Edgehall" is a delightful base from which to explore the pretty villages and coastal towns of Suffolk and Essex, or go further afield to such famous cities as Norwich or Cambridge.

Edge Hall is a family run home offering a friendly atmosphere to all guests.
Beautifully restored and very tastefully modernized, all rooms are en-suite, centrally heated and provided with TV and tea/coffee making facilities. It has an attractive walled garden which in the summer months is a popular place for afternoon tea, or playing a leisurely game of croquet.
